The shopping process.
how to use the shopping cart on Electronic Cigarette Suppliers. A quick tutorial explaining how to place an order and pay for it, using our shopping cart.
1) Using the Category Menu at the top left of the page, click on one of the categories.  The next page may offer a further choice (normally either the ECS 2010 or the old ECS 4081 models)  Then click the one you want. This will open the relevant page with an assortment of related products.  Click the title of the one you are interested in and the full page for that item will appear. There are further choices to make ie. flavour, strength and quantity. Select your preferences and click "Add To Cart".  A window will appear confirming that the item was added to your shopping cart. It will ask you if you want to check your cart out, or if you want to continue shopping. If you miss this chance and the window closes, don’t worry. Go back to the category menu and select your next product and repeat the process. The window in the header on the top right of the page will always show the contents of your shopping basket. At any stage you can click "Show Cart" to see your shopping list, to make changes or to complete the purchase process. 2) When you are ready, click "Show Cart".  You will now see the list of items you have added to your cart. You are able to delete items and increase or decrease quantities. The total value and the amount of VAT will show. If you are satisfied, click "Submit". If you have a voucher number, insert it in the box before clicking "Submit". 3 The page will refresh to adjust any changes you made. Again you have the chance of entering any voucher number in the box. You get another chance to change quantities. Click "Submit "to update and refresh the page, or click "Checkout" if you are ready for the next step. 4) The new page allows you to log in if you already have an account, or to complete the registration process if you don’t. Fill out the form and agree to the terms and conditions.  You can click on "Terms & Conditions" to read it, then click the tick-box and click "Send Registration". The new page will show that your registration is successful. Note: You will be sent an e-mail confirming your login details. This mail includes an "activation link". Save these somewhere safe for next time. Until you click the activation link, your account and log in will be inaccessible. Often people think the activation mail has not been sent to them. This is an automated service and ALL links are sent, but often get caught by spaqm filters and even deleted automatically. Check your spam folder if you haven't received your activation link. The easiest way to ensure you receive this important e-mail is to add us to your contacts (address book). Add This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to your list. This way your spam filter will not throw us out. We have heard that hotmail accounts have problems, but all others seem to work fine. Once you can access your account, you get yet another chance to change the contents of the cart. Scroll down to check your details. If the delivery address (postal address) is the same as the address you used in the registration process, click "Next". If not, click "Add Billing Address" and add this info. Note too, that at any time you can log in on our home page and then look on the top left of the homepage for a link saying "Account Management". Click this and the new page will show a submenu, where you can choose to change Personal details, Billing address, or view your orders. If the payment was not completed the first time, youy can pick up where you left off.  5) The new page will show your shipping address details. This is where the parcel will be sent. This should be a P.O. Box number, or failing that then your nearest Post Office, with correct postal code. Give your full physical address if you do not have a postal box. Parcels are not delivered to the door. Make changes and save them, or if you are happy, click "Next". 6) This page shows the contents of your shopping cart and then asks you to choose the method of shipping. You can choose one of 4 options and then click Next. The options are: Speed Services, Economy Parcel, Collect from us and Arrange your own couriers (they will need to collect from us).  7) This page again shows the contents of your shopping cart and now has the selected postage costs added in. Now you need to select how you want to pay. There are 2 options: 1) Payfast (instant EFT/CreditCard/e-Wallet) and 2) Electronic Transfer. Note: Secure EFT transactions can still be made after clicking the Payfast option. The preferred option is Payfast because they notify us of your payment immediately and we do not have tgowait for banks to verify payment. Payment The second option is only if for some reason, you prefer not to use Payfast and want to do your own private direct transfer of funds online. There is no point really ,in using this option. It is no cheaper, as Payfast do not charge you at all. The onus is then on you, the customer, to provide proof of payment. The banks can take a few days to show a successful transaction on our statement and we will not process or deliver the order until we have this proof. Verification documents (proof of payment can be e-mailed to us or faxed. Fax number is 0867679548. BEST METHOD OF PAYMENT: PAYFAST.  Payfast are a safe and secure online payment processing company. They are a South African equivalent of Paypal. They deal with all major banks and card companies and the beauty is that they approve and verify payments immediately and then notify us. So there is no burden on you. Using this option still allows you to pay by EFT from your bank account, but also offers other choices such as credit cards. and e-wallet. This is the preferred method of payment. You will be taken to their secure site to make payment. It is not necessary to have, or to open an account with them. All that is required is a simple registration, but on subsequent purchases, all you need do is log in.  8) If you chose "Electronic Transfer" (private banking not using Payfast) the new page will show the final account. You will need to agree to the terms and conditions. Our banking details will show up in a grey box. You don’t need to make a note of these, as they will show again on the next page. Note that the onus is on you to furnish proof of payment. While logged in to your bank account, doing the fund transfer, there are options to send a message to the merchant. They offer email and sms options, but you can also copy the document yourself and send it to us by email or fax. Please useyour surname and the order number as the reference.  Back to our checkout pages. On this page, there is also a box where you can type a message. Give us the name of your bank and the transaction number so we can reference it to the correct order. Refer to your order number. When ready, click "Confirm Order".  The next page is the final summary of your purchases. It shows all your purchased items, shipping, our banking details, your customer details etc. Now you can log in to your bank account to do the transfer. 9) If you chose to pay using Payfast, the new page will show the final account. You will need to agree to the terms and conditions. Our banking details will show up in a grey box. There is a box where you can type a message. Refer to your order number as the reference. When ready, click "Confirm Order." The next page is the final summary of your purchases. It shows your purchased items, shipping, our banking details, your customer details etc. You will be thanked for your purchase and informed that an e-mail has been sent to you with a copy of the order. You will now be shown the Payfast page. This is a secure site so don’t worry about that. You can read their terms and conditions on their website by clicking here.  10) Once on the Payfast page, you will be asked how you want to pay. The options are: 1) Credit Card – either Master or Visa 2) EFT – supports ABSA, FNB, Nedbank and Standard 3) UKash voucher 4) Payfast voucher 5) E-Wallet. If you have used Payfast before, simply make your selection and log in to conclude the transaction. If you are new, complete the very simple and unobtrusive registration and click "Register & Pay." You will receive notification from Payfast and from us that your order has been paid and Payfast advise us almost immediately, once the payment has been verified. 10) That’s it! You have successfully completed your first shopping venture with ECS. In future all you need to do is login and all the other info is already on record. We do not have access to your bank details at all. These are only used by your bank, either to pay us directly or to pay Payfast. Thanks for your order.
