First, a description of the new ECS 2010 model (exactly the same as the ECS 4082)

About the New 2010 Model
The ever popular old model, the ECS 4081 electronic cigarette was upgraded in 2010, hence the name. The cartomizers were improved at the end of 2011. Essentially this is the same as the later ECS 4081 Packs, which included cartomizers, in place of the atomizer and cartridge. The Starter Pack has been given a bit of a facelift, with a nifty new charger, a longer USB cable for use in either the wall charger or a computer, a new instruction leaflet, more sensitive batteries for smoother draws and a matt black box instead of the old shiny one. They are called the ECS 2010, by many satisfied users.

The one distinguishing feature and maybe a little problematic, to users of older models, is that the factory has "beefed up" the battery, but had to change the thread in order to thicken the outer walls. This means that the older cartomizers and battery chargers do not fit the new batteries. Thus the new ECS 2010 electronic cigarette becomes unique and marks the end of older the ECS 4081 models.

Obviously we will continue to carry spares and consumables for the older electronic cigarette models, for as long as we can, although this model has been phased out.

So, what are the upgraded features of the new ECS 2010? What makes the new ECS 4082 (or the ECS 2010 as it is known) so amazing?

1) New Easy Draw System
The ECS 2010 electronic cigarette delivers the easiest draw on the market. It is almost effortless. Our unique ECS cartomizer (atomizer/cartridge) allows for better air circulation, therefore each puff will deliver the same effortless motion every time.

If you have ever "puffed" on some opposition e-cig products, you will notice the difference immediately.

2) New Cartomizer
It's the same as getting a new atomizer with every replacement cartridge. This is VERY important and guarantees a fresh, full delivery system, every time. No need to worry about clogged up atomizers, that stop working over a short period of time and no need to keep buying expensive replacement atomizers, that only last a month. Each new disposable cartomizer has an atomizer built right into it.

3) Sealed Cartomizers
Each ECS cartomizer is individually sealed, therefore there is no leaking under normal conditions and no more getting your hands full of liquid nicotine.

4) Paper Filter Wrapper
ECS has moved away from the cold plain and cheap looking plastic cartridges and replaced ours with a solid metal tube, wrapped in an authentic looking cigarette paper wrapper, giving the electronic cigarette a more realistic and user friendly look.

5) Improved Cartomizer Atomizing Space
Most traditional electronic cigarettes on the market, of the same size, can only contain 0.3ml of liquid nicotine in the cartridge. Our 2010 model has double that capacity, at 0.8ml, giving the user approximately 8 to 10 cigarettes per cartomizer, compared to the average 4 to 5 cigarettes worth with other competing electronic cigarettes. Our newly designed atomizer heating element removes much of the space hogging component that other traditional atomizers would occupy, inside the cartridge. This allows more space for liquid nicotine.

Caution: There are other electronic cigarette suppliers, with similar systems on the market, claiming that each cartridge can deliver the equivalent of one box whole of cigarettes. This is simply not true.

6) Reduced Battery Failure
The number one reason for battery failure, is liquid nicotine leaking into the battery and jamming the sensitive pressure switches. ECS has redesigned and reduced the size of the air flow hole leading into the battery, by as much as 50%, without compromising the air flow circulation. The smaller diameter makes it almost impossible for liquid to pass into the battery and cause problems.

ECS has also redesigned the internal structure of the disposable atomizer, further reducing the possibility of liquid leaking into the battery of the electronic cigarette.

The battery is the heart of the electronic cigarette. While consumables like the cartomizer, atomizer etc are designed to be thrown away after a couple of days, the battery should last at least 3 months or 250 charges. It is covered for manufacturing defects by our warranty, but that said, the battery is a temperamental electronic device and can give trouble. It needs regular cleaning and maintenance. There is no way for us to test a battery before it is used.

It is essential to keep the battery of the electronic cigarette clean and at optimum health.

Should your battery stop working, for what ever reason, within 10 days of purchase, weill gladly exchange your faulty battery with a brand new replacement battery. This is covered by our manufacturer's warranty. Please check the procedures

7) Consumables Pricing
We understand that some electronic cigarettes can be more expensive then traditional cigarettes and the last thing we want to do is burden you with higher prices, so we have kept our pricing as low as possible, to keep you coming back to us. We have strategically kept our prices as much as 25% lower than similar competing products on the market. This is just another way of us showing you that we care about you. Escalating fuel prices, the gap between the R and the $ and general inflation affects finance conversion rates and this in turn affects product prices and shipping costs. Occasional increases are inevitable.

Although our new disposable cartomizers are meant to be discarded after use, they are refillable. We have had many users successfully refill them up to 6 times, before noticing a deterioration in performance. In one test, we actually kept a cartomiser going for 13 days! If you like, you can continue refilling them till they don't work anymore and then replace it with a new one.

Rule of thumb: Refill each cartomizer 4 or 5 times. Don't wait for the cartomizer to run dry as this can cause permanent damage. Refill at will.

8) Improved Vapour Production
After sampling several models of electronic cigarettes, we believe we have a winner with the new ECS 2010. It is much better in both vapour production and flavour. The new cartomizer system is capable of consistently delivering mouthfuls of vapour and a rich aroma of flavour. If you don't believe us, give it a try!

Tobacco Storm is the closest flavour to a normal cigarette. Lighter taste and not quite as "dark" as Tobacco Rush. Smooth tobacco flavour. No smell.

One bottle of 10 ml e-liquid will give you 30 refills of about 0.3ml each.  Maximum refills of 0.5ml each allow for 20 doses per bottle. Each newly refilled cartomizer (0.5ml) should last the equivalent of 15 to 20 cigarettes. Therefore, a full bottle is equivalent to about 300 to 400 cigarettes.

If you are using liquid to refill your old cartomizers, then you need a needle and syringe. This makes it so much easier. Small syringe (2 ml) with big calibrations. The needle is thin enough to enter easily and long enough to deposit the liquid as deep as possible.

When available! Box of 5 Cartomizers in default Fresh Tobacco flavour of various strengths. Slightly "minty" tobacco taste. Ideal for testing your correct strength, or for refilling with your favourite flavour e-liquid.

1) ECS 2010 Electronic Cigarette Battery

Spare rechargeable battery (white) for 2010 model. (smaller threads than the 4081)

If you smoke more than 30 a day smoker, you really should consider getting a third battery. You will require a recharged battery more often and might be away from home.

The extra battery could be charged from the PC at work or with a car charger.

If you buy a spare battery, you might also wish to consider getting another USB charger cable, or a Car charger & cable.

Remember to specify the model, as the 2010 battery has smaller threads than the 4081 battery.

2) ECS 2010 Electronic Cigarette USB Adapter Cable

Charge from your computer or laptop, with an USB cable.

This USB charger is ideal for those who work in an office environment. Simply plug it into any available USB socket on you Laptop or PC and leave for 3 - 4 hours, to fully charge. the battery This cable works with the AC wall charger and the car charger adapter.

The adapter plugs in to the car's cigarette lighter socket. A cable is supplied, with an USB port on one end and the female battery threads on the other end. Note: The battery threads of the 4081 model is different to that of the 2010 model.

11) ECS 4081 Electronic Cigarette Atomizer

Atomizer for the older ECS 4081 model, before Cartomizers. Ideal for people who prefer dripping.

All older models of electronic cigarettes (before cartomizers) used an atomizer and slide on cartridges. The atomizer is a fairly delicate device and often breaks or cakes up with carbon.

If you still have one of these models (not only ECS - most other types fit) or if you prefer dripping (putting refill liquid directly onto the atomizer for a greater throat hit, then you will probably need spare atomizers.

Note: These do not fit the new ECS 2010, which has smaller battery threads.

12) ECS 4081 Electronic Cigarette Car Charger Cable (old type)

Old type Car charger cable. Charge a 4081 battery while travelling.

This is an adapter cable between the car's cigarette lighter socket and the tunnel part of the old ECS 4081 AC Wall Charger, allowing you to charge a battery while driving.

Note: Cable only - you must have one of the old tunnel type of AC charger.
